The Troy-Hayner Cultural Center is pleased to announce that registration for Art Exploration Camp for students entering 7th – 12th grades will begin Monday, May 11, 2026 at 9:00 am. During the week of June 29 – July 2 from 1 PM to 4 PM each day, teen artists are invited to join instructors Dana Leonard and Abbey Niefer for a creative four-day adventure discovering new art mediums each day.

Art Exploration Camp for Teens is designed for curious creators. This camp encourages hands-on learning, experimentation, and confidence in artistic expression. On Monday, June 29th students will receive instruction in drawing techniques. Likewise, the focus on June 30th will be painting. Emphasis will be placed on sculpture on July 1st and skills in pottery will be highlighted on July 2nd. By the end of camp, each participant will have a diverse collection of projects and a strong foundation in multiple art forms, along with plenty of inspiration to continue creating long after camp ends.  

New this summer, students may choose to attend specific days or the entire week. The fee for Camp is $40 per day or $130 for all four days. Registration is May 11th – May 29th.  Registration is online only and first come first served.
