Workforce Connections Summit

Description

In partnership with the Troy Foundation and the Troy Development Council. employers are invited to join us for the Workforce Connections Summit.   

What: The goal of the summit is to provide current information on workforce concerns affecting employers including childcare, housing, mental health and general healthcare and transportation. Following the information sessions on these topics, participants will have the opportunity to connect with nonprofit organizations providing workforce services directly  as well as services needed for employee success (food, dental and health care, housing, mental health).  

Presenters include: 

• Groundwork Ohio - Childcare in Ohio 
• COHHIO - cost of housing in Ohio
• Miami County Transit & Community Rides - the cost of transportation 
• Health Partners Free Clinic - access to healthcare 

When:  Tuesday, October 22, 8:00 AM-Noon (Breakfast provided)

Where: Bravo Room at Hobart Arena 

Who should attend:  Human Resource Directors, Plant Managers, Business Owners, Managers, Anyone interested in learning about the current workforce climate and the resources available to assist your employees.
