Join us for an information tour of the downtown Miami County Jail with the Miami County Commissioners and the Miami County Sheriff.
We are offering this tour to equip our members with the information needed for the May 2026 primary. The tour and presentation will provide attendees with information on the sales tax increase that is on the May 2026 ballot.
The current facility on West Main Street was built in 1972. A single cell averages 48 square feet. However, per Ohio law, a single cell must be at least 70 square feet, or larger for multiple occupants. Structurally, the downtown building no longer meets the modern standards for safety, efficiency and legal compliance.
Come learn more about the0.5% sales tax increase (will sunset at 10 years) and the conditions of the jail.
Following the tour, we will be headed to Crafted & Cured for networking (drinks/food on your own).
RSVP recommended to plan for tour groups.
This is open to all Leadership Troy Alumni, Chamber members, their employees and family members. Please share with others within your organization.
