Digital Etiquette

What is Digital Etiquette?  Digital Etiquette, also known as “Netiquette” is a word which refers to “net” and “etiquette.”  Netiquette thus describes the recommended rules of conduct for respectful and appropriate communication on the Internet.  It is a set of electronic standards of conduct for using digital devices and technology when interacting with others online. It's based on the idea of treating others with courtesy, respect, and being mindful of how your words and actions may affect others. Digital Etiquette is an important aspect of modern communication. By practicing good digital etiquette, we can build positive relationships, prevent misunderstandings and conflicts, and present ourselves in a professional and positive light.
