Topic: The Power of Choice

This talk will empower and encourage listeners to embrace the power of choice and make it a way of life. As we recognize and celebrate the power of choices as one of the most fundamental human rights, I want to encourage you to think about the choices you make every day and the role that choice plays in your own life. When you embrace the power of choice, you create opportunities to learn, to grow, and to lead. The power of choice is what propels us forward, and it is the foundation for personal and professional success.

Topic: Awareness and Understanding of Burn Out

Women tend to live and work at full capacity and sometimes over their capacity! This can be self-induced, a perception of expectations, and/or stuck in the loop of comparisons. Finding themselves in a season of harshly judging themselves and difficult with managing expectations can lead to ‘Burn Out” very quickly. Sometimes without knowing we are headed down that slippery slope that leads to…” What is happening, why is this so hard…I don’t think I can do this anymore!” These are comments that I have heard from women I coach who have found themselves in this spot. Specifically, since COVID. Some of the habits during that time are no longer working for women in particular in the workplace. Working through awareness and understanding of what Burn Out is and isn’t is key to working through it. It is important to share Burn Out isn’t a bad thing. Understanding Burn Out leads to a culture and atmosphere in the workplace that offers a safe space for women to be honest with themselves and their employer.
