On Wednesday, April 17 at 6:00 p.m., a Downtown Safety and Streetscape Renovation meeting will be held at the Red Men Lodge, 103 East Main Street, on the third floor. The engineering firm of LJB, Inc., will present the ideas being explored to enhance pedestrian safety in the downtown square area and renovate the current streetscape. As this is a preliminary step in the design process, concept sketches will be shared. Detailed engineering design has not taken place at this stage. Construction would not begin before 2025. Merchant input would be appreciated as there are several options as to how this project could be phased through construction.
