Downtown Troy will be the hub for all donut and music lovers on Friday, August 26th, as Troy Main Street and the Miami County Visitors Bureau host the Donut Jam Music Festival. This FREE family-friendly event kicks off at 5:00 PM with musical performances, children’s activities, and drink sales. Local favorite, Cory Breth, is the opening musical act for the evening, followed by Ohio’s highest energy live band, Zack Attack! Cory Breth will play from 5:00-7:00PM and Zack Attack will play from 7:30- 10:30PM. Children’s activities will also be taking place including COSI’s Mobile Exhibit, face painting by Trojan Florist, activities with Armstrong Air and Space Museum and Brukner Nature Center, large yard games and more! WACO will be giving rides to children on their Plane Train on South Market Street. Troy Main Street will be selling beer from Moeller Brew Barn during the event. Several of their craft beer options will be available and all proceeds from the beer sales will benefit Troy Main Street. Grab a beer and then head to Bakehouse Bread & Cookie Company for a BBQ dinner on the square. For dessert, Donuts will be available for sale from Kiwanis of Troy. The Donut Jam will be held from 5-11pm Friday evening in downtown Troy. The next morning, the public is welcome to cheer on cyclists in the Tour de Donut bicycle event and enjoy more musical entertainment and children’s activities, including a COSI Science Show on the stage at 10:30 AM. Haren’s Market will be grilling out all day Saturday and have several food options available. The Cherry Street Local Farmers Market will also be running Saturday morning from 9am-12pm. The weekend is sure to be sweet!
