TROY MAIN STREET TO HOST SIXTH ANNUAL CHOCOLATE WALK Troy, OHIO – Saturday, September 3rd will be a very ‘sweet’ day in downtown Troy, as Troy Main Street hosts its sixth annual Chocolate Walk. “We are looking forward to hosting this event again,” said Andrea Keller, Executive Director of Troy Main Street. “This year we have moved the event to a Saturday to allow participants more time to peruse downtown stores while collecting an array of chocolate treats.”

Several downtown businesses will participate in the event and will offer chocolate items such as assorted handmade chocolates, cupcakes, chocolate dipped foods, and more. While many chocolate items are edible, some are chocolate themed.

Tickets for the event will go on sale Monday, August 1st. Tickets are $25 each and can be purchased by calling the Troy Main Street office at 937-339-5455. “Each year, tickets for the event have sold out so it’s important that people purchase their tickets quickly, “ Keller stated. “200 tickets are available for purchase.”

The Chocolate Walk will be held from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Saturday, September 3rd. “Our hope is that people will spend their Saturday downtown collecting chocolates, shopping with our retailers, eating lunch with one of our restaurants and maybe even grabbing a DORA drink to sip along the way,” said Keller.
