After a painstaking assessment of the portion of our collection that survived the December 7, 2024 fire, the Overfield Tavern Museum has decided to deaccession and sell a few hundred items that were either heavily damaged, fall outside of our museum's period of interpretation, or for which we have multiple representative pieces. Please join us on Saturday, March 29, from 10 AM to 12 noon at 9 E. Main Street (the former Sweeney Todd Salon) and pick up an item to serve as a memory of Troy's original gathering place. Some lovely pieces will be available, with several damaged items having great potential to be 'upcycled' and repurposed. All items are being sold 'as is.' The sale will be conducted as a silent auction, concluding at 12 noon, with payment accepted in cash or by card.
