Opening Reception for "On the Banks of the Miami: Exhibit

On Saturday, March 23, 1-4 p.m., the Overfield Tavern Museum will host an opening reception for its new exhibit, “On the Banks of the Miami.” Attendance at this special event is limited to museum members, so be sure to become a member or renew your membership today at overfieldtavernmuseum.com. The exhibit is funded by The Troy Foundation and will include an in-depth look at aspects of early Troy history, including medicine on the frontier, Native American life, and pioneers of color. The exhibit will be open to the public beginning on Wednesday, April 3 and can be viewed during the museum’s regular hours: Saturday and Sundays, 1-4 p.m., and Wednesday mornings, 9-12, April through October, or other times by appointment.
