Dulahan is a Celtic-American band that pays homage to traditional Celtic harmonies, instrumentation and language styles. They write much of what they perform with great love and respect for the genre and style of traditional Celtic folk music. This five-piece band includes Kyle Aughe on guitar, bouzouki, banjo and harmonica; Leo Butler with Irish whistles, flutes and pipes; Mark Sandlin on mandolin; Dylan Aughe on percussion. This instrumentation as well as their 3- and 4-part harmonies delivers the Celtic message. The Fridays on Prouty Concert series is a free downtown Troy summer music series that takes place at the park on Prouty Plaza. Bring your own lawn chair and your best friends and share a community concert with your neighbors. The 2023 concert series will open on Friday, June 30th at 7:30 pm with the well-loved Dulahan band. Fridays on Prouty concerts are a collaboration between the Troy-Hayner Cultural Center and Troy Main Street. Concerts are free to the public thanks to a generous grant from the Troy Foundation.
