Calling all Teens! Eco-Splorers 'Teen Bike Week' for cyclists from 12 to 15 years of age! This three day summer camp is spent entirely focused on bike riding long distances (increasing from 20 to 35 miles each day). Campers will learn about bike safety and explore different sections of the Miami Valley Bike Trails. Each day has an ice cream stop! On Friday, campers have an option for a half day ride. However, parents will have to pick up or drop off their teens at Island Park in Dayton. PLEASE NOTE: Participants must be able to ride at least 30 miles at an average speed of 10 mph. Schedule (Location/direction of rides dependent on river levels): - Monday 6/16 NO CAMP THIS DAY - Tuesday 6/17 (8:30-1:30) - Community Park (Troy), bike north to Piqua and return. Ice cream and spray ground stop. - Wednesday 6/18 (8:30-1:30) - Lagonda Park (Springfield), bike north to Urbana and return. Iced coffee stop. - Thursday 6/19 - REST DAY - Friday 6/20 (8:00-3:00) - Charleston Falls Office (Tipp City), Transporting to Xenia, will return to Kyle Park in Tipp City.
