Description
Join us for the official dedication of a new, permanent historical diorama honoring the 54th Massachusetts Infantry - one of the first Black regiment organized in the North during the U.S. Civil War.
This immersive exhibit commemorates the extraordinary courage of over 150 men from the Miami Valley who volunteered to serve in the 54th Massachusetts Regiments. Featuring them at rest after battle, free from combat and rich in dignity. It stands as a lasting tribute to their legacy - and to the community support and generosity that made this project possible.
