Oct. 5 at 6:30pm New local Author Patricia Simmons will discuss her new Faith-based Sci-Fi Romance Novel. She will read excerpts from her book 'Hope Ignites,' and answer questions on the novel. Books will be available to purchase. For adults. 'Hope Ignites' is about a woman named Wren and a man named Drake who encounter one another at the foot of The High Place. The encounter sparks an unexpected connection, leading to a journey of love, redemption, and faith. *You do not need to register for this event. Author Patricia Simmons, a devoted retired Pastor's wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, pours her heart and extensive knowledge of Christian teachings into 'Hope Ignites.' With a Bachelor's Degree in Christian Education from Asbury College, Wilmore Ky, and a Masters of Education specializing in Special Education from Antioch McGregor, Yellowsprings, OH. Patty taught for a while and decided to leave teaching to devote her time to her grandchildren and pursue her passion for writing. Loving others well from the overflow of her Heavenly Father is her heart and way of life.
