Position Title:                                              Software Developer 3 AEM

Summary of Duties: Deliver highly available and highly scalable interactive web solutions, including experience developing custom components on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). Maintain up-to-date knowledge of competitive products, services and trends through research of latest technology and trends. Work closely with marketing, other development teams, and business analyst to deliver robust scalable solutions utilizing AEM to meet project requirements. Code, modify and debug, web-based applications in the Java language using additional web technologies including HTML, JavaScript and CSS. Assist in code design. Perform code reviews providing code quality review. Perform analysis of interacting systems to ensure changes made to one system will not impact other systems. Work closely with the Business Analyst to ensure proper documentation of requirements. Prepare technical specifications, run books, and other system and programming documentation in accordance with internal standards. Provide training to users and knowledge transfer to Support and Operations personnel related to changes to systems. Work with Quality Analysts to ensure changes are thoroughly tested before release. Write unit tests for new code. Diagnose of problematic applications and assist system testing. Stay informed of advances and pertinent changes in software development techniques and technologies. Perform other related duties as assigned by Management. Remote work available. 20% travel to home office required.

Qualifications: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, or related field, and two (2) years of experience as a Software Developer, Application Developer, Software Engineer, or related role. Two (2) years of experience with: Website development; Implementing projects on Adobe Experience Manager Version 6.2+; and Programming Languages including: Java, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery, Spring Boot, HTL (Sightly), Bootstrap, and Postman. One (1) year of experience with: SCRUM/Agile development methodologies; and Automated unit tests and using agile development methodology.
