Join local manufacturers from the Piqua, Sidney-Shelby, Tipp City, and Troy Chambers of Commerce for the quarterly Miami-Shelby Manufacturing Council Meeting.

Speaker: Drew Bowers, Group Leader, Research Psychologist, University of Dayton Research Institute

Mr. Bowers leads the Human Factors Group (HFG) at the University of Dayton Research Institute (UDRI), which conducts research on the intersection between humans and technology in various environments. The Human Factors Group designs and runs experimental protocols, evaluates software and products for usability, and develops technologies to improve human performance. One of their current projects focuses on using Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) for training. The presentation will share both AR and VR training technology for manufacturing.
